Opening and closing titles.

For the animation, the opening and closing titles consisted of block colours. Here are some samples:

Patterns.

A number of patterns were created and then integrated into the character's clothes for the Dedicated Follower of Fashion.

Elements.

In addition to the characters and sets I also had to make a number of elements - street signs, record sleeves, posters and so on.

Sets.

I needed to make multiple sets for the animation, here are some key sets.

Characters.

There were five key characters in this animation - the Dedicated Follower of Fashion, mod girls, mod boys, hippie boys, and hippie girls. Each had multiple iterations but I have included just one iteration for each.

Upon deciding not to progress with the paper idea I went back to the drawing board, as such, and started sketching more ideas for the Dedicated Follower of Fashion.

Paper.

The second installment of my Dedicated Follower of Fashion process: paper cut outs.

After pouring over this amazing book of children's illustrators I thought I might make the animation completely D.I.Y. and handmade. I was particularly inspired by Istvan Schritter and so decided to make a mod girl (Twiggy, pretty much) and a mod guy/potential Dedicated Follower of Fashion. I also experimented with how to create a set, I have included some iterations for the Carnaby Street set idea. There is a lyric stating that the Dedicated Follower of Fashion 'thinks he is a flower' and the visualisation of this is also included.
