Abstract April 1.

Over the course of April, I will be posting some abstract/geometric/pattern type images that I've been working on. 

Here's the first:

Diamonds.

Here are some recent geometric watercolour 'diamond' forms.

Geometric forms and patterns.

I have long been interested in drawing geometric forms and exploring colour and tones while doing so.

Here is one such shape.

A line of alternate colour combinations.

A pattern of these five.

I also experimented with yellow and magenta tones and shape combinations in collage form before making this.

From which I created ‘bunting’.
